WHAT IS ENCOUNTER?
Encounter retreats provide powerful Biblical teachings by INY & INChurch leaders that equip young men with an understanding of Biblical manhood and an opportunity to reflect on how to live set apart when they return home.
Key life topics such as vulnerability, family, repentance, sexuality (age appropriate), relationships, overcoming rejection, and embracing forgiveness give young men the chance to learn important life skills.
Most importantly, the weekend provides opportunity for young people to come to the cross of Jesus, leave their past behind, and embrace a Spirit-powered future where they make a difference in others’ lives.

TIMES: Arrive 6pm for Friday Night Youth | Pick up from church Saturday 9pm
LOCATION: Wycliffe Christian School
COST: $40
WHAT TO BRING:
+ Air Mattress & Bedding (Sleeping bag, Pillow)
+ Clothes & Toiletries
+ Your Bible, a notepad & pen, to take notes (if you don’t have these, we can provide them).
A more detailed packing list will be sent to registered participants closer to the camp.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Young Mens Encounter is a fully supervised overnight camp at Wycliffe Christian School. Camp will be run by the INY Youth Leadership team with assistance from other INChurch leaders.
Campers will be expected to take responsibility for themselves by assisting leaders to set up, cook food, clean up and participating in all camp activities.
Mobile phones and other entertainment devices will not be allowed at camp to ensure full engagement in camp activities.
