Young Womens Encounter is a two night retreat for all young women in high school to encounter God

Encounter weekends provide powerful Biblical teachings by INY & INChurch leaders that equip young women with an understanding of Biblical truths and an opportunity to reflect on how to go to the next level when they return home.

Encounters are designed to help you disconnect from day-to-day routine and devote time to exploring your inner lives.

God has freedom for us and for our lives RIGHT NOW, sometimes it can be hard to switch off, listen and receive — this weekend is for that.

It will refresh you, fill you with vision and direction whilst confronting possible hurts from the past and allowing God to heal and restore your freedom.

If you want to go deeper with God, if you feel like you are ready for the next level, if you know there are things holding you back from all that God has for you, or if you just want to experience God and His freedom in a new and fresh way — Encounter Weekend is for you!

The theme of this Encounter is ‘Guard Your Heart’

Guard your heart above all else (Proverbs 4:23)

Some of the topics we cover on the weekend are:
{Self-Worth} Where do I find it? What does God say about me?
{Relationships} How can I relate better to people and create stronger friendships in my life?
{Sexuality} What does the Bible say about marriage, sexuality and relationships?
{The Cross} What is sin? Why did Jesus have to die?
{Freedom} How can I move forward from hurts and issues from the past?

Most importantly, the weekend provides opportunity for young people to come to the cross of Jesus, leave their past behind, and embrace a Spirit-powered future where they make a difference in others’ lives.

So come! Come to Him. Come with your needs, with your hurts, with your confusion and fears and let Him give you what you need.

The Details

WHEN: Friday 25th - Sunday 27th October 2024
Drop off at INChurch 6:00pm on Friday 25th October
Pick up from INChurch 12pm Sunday 27th October

WHERE: Arrive at INChurch 6:00pm, the minibuses will be used to transport attendees to the retreat location in Castlereagh (13 Devlin Road Castlereagh)

COST: $30.00pp

WHAT TO BRING:
+ Air Mattress & Bedding (Sleeping bag, Pillow)
+ Clothes & Toiletries (it will get cold, so pack warm)
+ Your Bible, a notepad & pen, to take notes (if you don’t have these, we can provide them).
